Did the 5.5 mile loop starting at Mount Woodson Rd & Hwy 67 for this trip up. Wanted to do something different than the usual route up from the lake. Expected a very hot day, so got out early. 2 mile paved road up to the radio towers and the actual Mount Woodson summit, then went down on the other side of the towers to play on the Chip before heading back down. Took the beautiful and shady Old Fry/Koegel Trail back out to Hwy 67.
