This trail is uphill almost the whole way. We loved the trail that wound up the first 2 miles. After reaching the fire road it was nice and wide and the views were incredible almost the whole way. We did not see much wild life which I was surprised since we started early. Once we got to the top we took a breather and started down again. Loved that we could see both sides from the top!! Loved this hike so much more then El Cajon Mtn.
