This was my forth in the Six Pack of Peaks challenge. It was long and there were few other hikers on the trail so I had a lot of quality time with myself. 🙂 The weather was great for it. I almost missed the peak – I hiked right past it! There were a few shallow creeks to cross. The bugs were a little annoying. I didn't see any mountain kittehs, thankfully (but I felt sure they were lurking around me, ready to pounce). I saw one snake and he was recently deceased. A turkey trotted along with me for a bit (ok, he was running away from me) and the cows were curious.   The hardest part is that bit of uphill out of the ravine on the return, and then, the knee crunching final downhill. My feet were pretty sore at the end but overall felt like a pretty good accomplishment!
