This is the 2nd peak this year and it was not as difficult as I imagined it would be. I think I need to wrap my head around the fact that I am getting stronger. The weather was a perfect average low 60s and it was sunshiny, so I was very happy to find that most of the trail was shaded. It was my Mom's birthday that day so I was happy to be in a beautiful, open space so I could remember her peacefully. I hiked with my very good friends, Susan and Diane so it was a hoot on top of it all.
