This hike was super enjoyable. There are 40,000 switchbacks (j.k, but there are a lot) but I didn't find them to be too bad. We actually started later than we wanted to, around 8am, but it worked out because there were quite a few hikers (not crowded) on the trail at the same time and it felt like we were all hiking as a unit, with a common goal, encouraging each other along the way. I'd do this one again.
