Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

Perfect weather, sunny but breezy. There wasn’t snow for 2/3 of the hike going up from Baldy Rd, After we passed the ski hut there were patches of snow that were hard to cross since we didn't have spikes or sticks. I know, not prepared at all. We Still managed to make it to the top though.
