This hike was my 2nd favorite hike so far. The hike up via the Ski Hut was incredible and starting early helped. We got buzzed by a comedian pilot where I could almost touch his plane at the summit. The chances of his joke failing were about 50%. A break at the notch was amazing and completed a goal of mine for many years!

It happened so fast that nobody could get their phone ready. It would have been a pretty epic slo mo shot but the reality is the stunt was insanely dangerous for those in the plane and us on the mountain. I’m not exaggerating when I say we could practically reach up and touch the plane.
