Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

This loop was absolutely amazing! We started at the trailhead and travelled up towards Top of the Notch. From there we climbed up below the ski lifts and across the Devil's Backbone. Once we were at the last climb, there was a good amount of snow but it was easy to follow the foot trails of others. After a quick lunch at the summit, we descended the Ski Hut Trail and this is where it got a little tricky. There is a still a good amount of snow in the Baldy Bowl and the trail is washed out in multiple areas. With a little orienteering, we were able to stay pretty true to the trail and made it down in the same amount of time it took to make it up. Overall, 10/10 will be doing this loop again!
