Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

I finally got this one done after a couple attempts before! I started at the Trail Canyon Trailhead and ended at the Cathedral Rock Trailhead so I got the full experience. It was a rough and long hike but the weather was beautiful for it! There were quite a few spots where snow has built up and frozen solid on the trail towards the top. It can be slick in some spots so if you're not sure of your footing it'd be best to just avoid it until the spring. Some of these spots are pretty much all or nothing and could have you sliding down a mountain side if you slip. I think it would definitely be easier and safer this time of year to make it to Mt. Charleston starting from the Cathedral Rock Trailhead. Overall great hike! Just wish I would have done it a month or two ago when the leaves were still changing.
