Today was a great day to hike Mt Diablo. We followed the advice from the blog and brought hiking poles – very useful as a few trails are really rocky and hard to navigate. But we acted like mountain goats and did a loop starting on Eagle Peak Trail we passed Twin Peaks and Eagle Peak and made our way up to the summit. We went in the Visitor Center and to the top deck for the 360° views. We went down on a fire road and all in all our loop took us 16.95 miles.
