A long drive to the trail head, over 2 hours…. but at least the parking lot was open (COVID -19 didn't affect the parking).

Weather was perfect, mid 60's and sunny.  Trail is straight forward.  Up hill for 5 miles, 2000 ft vertical to the North Peak.  On the way we saw rock climbers practicing.  That was fun to watch them.  We also saw the major devastation of the Santa Rosa forrest fires.  Since the hike was relatively straight forward and easy we decided to add another mile to the trip and hiked over to the South Peak which has considerable communications equipment on it.

Then we settled in to the long drive back to Pleasanton.
