This was a hell of a hike—-gorgeous, breathtaking and very hard. The oak trees are majestic. The trails are well kept and easy to traverse. The initial “wall” of an incline is very steep but expected. We did not expect to end with 3 miles of switchback incline. Ugh! We were spent.
