I started out pretty late in the day, I think it was around 3 or 4 pm. The trail was pretty easy, a nice gradual climb. As I kept going I started noticing more and more snow along the sides of the trail, until eventually it was completely covered in snow! It would have been possible without any additional gear, but I brought my traction shoe grips, so I made use of them. The snow got pretty deep at times, but I am sure it is all gone now because I am submitting this review in April 😛 (procrastination is fun). It was a beautiful hike and I can't wait to do it again someday! It will be fun to compare it in a non-snowy season!
