Hike 1 of 6 challenge hikes with our 6-pack group. Chose this route to both start off with a shorter trail and to get us motivated for remaining peaks. This trail was correctly rated as moderate and we chose a clear day for epic views at the top! Stared off with layers, and while most of trail in shade, still able to shed during ascent. The creeks were bubbling and there were only few muddy areas.
