Great hike! Most of the trail is shaded so the hike wasn’t too bad with regard to temperature. Bugs were a nuisance but they only bothered me when I stopped to rest. On the way down I saw a rattle snake crossing the trail, but it just went on its own way. Be aware of poison oak and bring lots of water.
