Gorgeous June day hiking up to Mt Wilson for the first time. We started early to beat the heat. I was pleasantly surprised that the majority of the trail was shaded. My favorite memory is hiking up the trail with the sound of the water flowing down the creek. Only negative was the poodle brush near the top but I was well covered and didn't touch it. I loved this hike. It took me about 7 hours to hike 15.4 miles as tracked by AllTrails app.
