This is a great alternative trail having completed the main trail several times now.  It’s a beautiful trail that wraps though wooded area and then ultimately merges up to the main trail about 1 mile below the summit.  Still can’t find the marker if there is one up there.  Threw in Iron Mountain on the way out for fun…
