Started at Islip Saddle for summit of Baden Powell. Couple of miles to Little Jimmy campground where I ditched my tent and bear canister, ? up at LJ springs then six miles and 3,356 ft of elevation gain to BP along the PCT. Very hot/exposed (80’s) and skeeters the whole way. Back to LJ campground where I camped for the night. Awesome campground but needed a small fire the entire time to keep the little flying bastards at bay. Great training hike.

Love camping overnight on the Six-Pack of Peaks! Never done it via Little Jimmy. I’ll have to add that to my to-hike list. 😉
