The views from the top are amazing and so rewarding after a rock scramble, and a grueling trek over never ending rolling hills. Glad I got to do this in perfect weather since it’s really exposed. This was also a completely different experience from my last year’s summit. Our timing was better, the weather was perfect, it’s a challenge for sure but it was more enjoyable this year.
There are bees at the summit but they are more of a nuisance than anything. They kept to themselves for the most part.
