1/1/2021:

I started my New Year with a hike up to Sitton Peak.  The weather as very nice.  I started a bit late, around 9 a.m.  At this time the Candy Store was closed.  There weren't alot of people, but I ran into my hiking sister Lisa Beasley as she was completing her hike.  The trail was beautiful with lush vegetation.  It was so overgrown that the shrub and bushes covered the helicopter crash site.

Although Sitton Peak is lesser of the Peak Challenges, it kicked my butt.  I dreaded the most in the last half muke to the summit.  Slowly, but surely U bagged it.  It was kind of windy up there.  I took a few photos and hurriedly down jusy for time for a late lunch.
