Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

The hike itself had it unique challenges. The trail had frozen snow and Ice covering it. There was sections of the trail with ice covered with snow. I did loose my footing and slipped a lot due to the ice. The weather was very windy at the trailhead. The drive up to the trailhead was also challenging due to black ice. The parking lot at the trailhead was insanely crowded. I had to park along a section of the road that prohibited parking. I didn't like the loud music and yells from the families snow playing. The summit was a nice place to hangout due to the sun and the few amount of other hikers. I only encountered six other people at the summit. There was no winds just breezes at the summit. I do a lot of trail runs so this hike wasn't to strenuous for me. I felt amazing at the summit having done it on the first day of 2019. I love this mountain and will be back soon.
