We got to the parking area around 7 a.m. and by then there were already cars turning around so we figured the parking lot was already full. We ended up finding a couple of parking not too far from the trailhead. We took the Sturtevant trail up and down the Winter Creek trail. We started at 7:45 a.m. and took a few breaks along the way and got to the peak at about noon. At the peak, we ate our lunches and took a nice nap in the sun. We had to look around for the Mount Wilson sign (didn't realize it was at Echo Rock) so that added another mile to our hike since we hiked to the far parking lot with the communication towers and then all the way back to Echo Rock. We left the peak at around 2 p.m. and made it back to our cars at around 4:30 p.m.
