NomNomNom is how my appetite felt today because Christina and I had just topped out at Mission Peak then beat feet across the bay to nab Mt. Umunhum in a Six Pack Double Header. Let just say that this trail is extremely nice. I felt like this was a stroll through a well groomed park trail and not on the side of a mountain overlooking the SF Bay. Unlike the weather at Mission Peak early this morning the fog and clouds disappeared and it was a nice 70 degrees with clear skies. I really appreciated the history on this hike not only from the old Air Force radar station but also reading about the Native Americans that used to roam the hills here. So after strolling to the top and nabbing a few photos we headed back down to grab a big lunch. Perfect ending to another gorgeous day hiking in NorCal.
