Beautiful escape into the pines today, with some of my favorite outdoorsy people!
We started at 6am at pleasant temps. Happy about my new invention, the “Gator Cocktail”.
🤣 You can ask if you like and I explain.
10+ miles round trip with 2500ft elevation gain, another 6-pack peak challenge accomplished.
If you do this hike, make sure to go left at last fork to the Sedona outlook, amazing views. Then head back to fork and go right to official peak.
We finished hike with soaking our feet (and some more!) in Oak Creek, and topped it off with a late lunch at the “Flew the coop Nashville hot chicken shack” in Camp Verde.
FYI, the spicy level is real, mild one has a kick already. 🤣🐔🔥
This was quite the undertake since all of us haven’t hiked big in months!
