The first three miles, not too bad. The last 1.65 miles to the top with all the steep switchbacks, ugh. However, the hike was totally worth it. We left at 10:22am and the temperature was a warm 54°F with the sun up and bright blue skies. We got to the top at 12:15pm and grabbed a quick bite to eat while enjoying the beautiful view. We headed back down at 12:50pm and got back to our car at 2:20pm completing our 9.3mi hike in just under 4 hours at a 20:36 minute/mile pace. All in all, great trip.
