This is my second attempt at Ontario this year. I tried to do it back in July and pretty much had to turn around for heat exhaustion. This time, I didn’t have the heat to worry about, just snow from the saddle up to the peak. This is the 3rd peak that I had to deal with snow without microspikes, but this time most of the trail was more ice than snow. There were parts where you could avoid it, but there are a couple of sections where it was unavoidable. Plus, you have to climb over fallen trees in certain sections with the ice below. So I fell like 10 times. But, even with all of these obstacles, I made it to the peak and down with just a few scratches and bruises. And that ends my challenge for this year!
