What spectacular sights! The summit was unexpectedly crowded for a weekday. Even though it was a hot and sunny day, thunderclouds were not building up to spoil the views. The Devil’s Backbone Trail is clearly marked and easily passable despite the frightening name. Our descent down the bowl to the hut was way more challenging. All in all, the summit views alone are worth the effort.
