Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

Left home at 500am and arrived at Ice House by 600am, forgetting it was the first day of daylight savings change. Very dark!

After waiting for a little sun to break through I headed off, very cold.

Made it to the top of Ice house Canyon trail and the snow had completely covered all the trails although a well enough defined path of foot trend was visible, plus I was using my gaia map app to ensure I stayed on course.

I reached Ontario Peak in just over 3 hours and the clear day quickly became a cloudy and windy one, so I spent little time at the peak.

By the time I had come down the snowy parts the sun had broken through again and I had a warm walk back to my car. total 7Hrs wondering around.
