Day started normal as usual 3.50 am get ready for a nice 2.20 hour drive. Once at the parking lot it was only me for a couple of minutes, I had to use the toilet and let me tell you real clean toilets. Once I did my business I grabbed my dog my gear and head out. While I was in the bathroom two peoe showed up and seemed they were in a hurry. I had already done my day permit since I took and extra the day I did Cucamonga. I left my permit and headed out. Same like Cucamonga trail is beautiful today was cold though low 30s. I already knew the first part of the hike so it was easy, way easier than when I did Cucamonga.  Once we got to the saddle once again we rested got some liquids and then headed out. During the ascend I keept looking to my right at Mount baldy and remember how much it kicked my butt. At one point I was recording and I stopped to show mount baldy I could hear my self talking and all of the sudden I heard what sounded like a bark amd i heard people talking I looked at my dog and realized it wasn't her. It's strange because we were the only ones on the trail head. I just stared to look for another dog but nothing I keep cautious because Roxy sometimes over reacts with other dogs and I didn't want any problems. To summarize we never encounter a dog or any other person while going up the peak. strange I know. Once at the summit I was a bit disappointed at the size of the summit and the view points there was a big brush infront where the view was at. The tree was cool looking though. Anyways great hike now on the way down before reaching Kelly camp I saw what appeared a person in a white hoodie coming upwards once again I never encounter this person, never a little forward I had unleashed Roxy because of the trees that were on the ground and I needed her to jump them without me pulling her. Once the deed was done up in front on the corner of my eye I saw what looked like goldfish fur like that of a golden retriever I leashed her and keept going and nothing we didn't encounter anything. Now I don't know what it was if there was an actual ghost but the whole entire hike up to the saddle both up and down I never encounter any other hiker and there's only one way down and up unless they were trailblazing.. but overall beautiful hike will do again next year.
