We began by hiking up the Icehouse Canyon to the Saddle. There was a large stream meandering alonside the trail that was beautiful. The trail was shady owing to the abundance of surgar pines. When we arrived at the Saddle the weather changed. It became quite windy. After eating some snacks, we got up and made our journey towards Ontario Peak. The views were spectacular at the summit. We then returned to our car exhausted but thankful for the great day.
