Trail snow-covered at times – Gear and expertise recommended

Started walking from the trailhead around 7:30am-ish and encountered snow pretty early on. On the way up, it was decently frozen/icy with minimal post-holing. Once I made it past Kelly Camp, up onto the ridge, the trail was just a set of footprints, but still pretty easy to follow. Views from the top were spectacular. Started my descent around noon, and the snow had begun to melt and below the icehouse canyon saddle, most of the snow on the trail had turned to slush, except for the one tiny patch that I slipped on, right after I decided to take my microspikes off.

Overall, it was an awesome hike, not too difficult, with amazing views from the ridge leading to the summit, and the summit as well. You should also probably bring microspikes, maybe an ice axe as well, if you have one.
