We started out with a cool windy morning up through Ice House Canyon up to the saddle. There was no snow until after the saddle, of which we had to put on our microspikes on pretty quickly when we hit crunchy snow. The trail was pretty visible all the way to the peak, while gearing off path would result in icy and unsafe conditions. The peak was a little windy (20-30 mph winds), but amazingly clear for miles. Was hoping to snowshoe hike Ontario, while happy to knock off fifth peak of Challenge with Wilson, San G, and San B remaining.
