We started at 6am. We had difficulty finding the trail head at first. Limited cell phone service. Saw 1 coyote on the way up but no other animals. Most of this hike is on a fire road. Not my favorite but glad I did it. First time. The peak was windy & cold so we didn’t stay long. Only saw 1 other hiker on the way up, but more going up as we came down.
