Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

It was a little overcast today which was actually great. I was hiking inside a cloud for the majority of this trek. Loved when I finally broke through and could see some blue sky (see photo). Took a break at Orchard Camp and braced for mile four of the incline, for me that’s always been the hardest and my slowest mile. This ended up being harder than I remembered (been about a year since I last did Wilson) but I dig deep and finished… well, I’d love to say I finished strong but the fact I finished is really what I’m proud of. Looking forward to tackling my next peak on this challenge. But first… rest.
