This was my first time conquering Picacho Peak, so I made sure to research beforehand. Trekking poles with gloves are strongly recommended and were a lifesaver! The weather was a (not so) cool high 80's and there was a definite haze reaching the peak, but you could still see the numerous mountain ranges in the distance. My favorite part of this hike was for sure the cables, especially once you crossover onto the other side of the saddle. @nickimats
