This hike was a perfect way to spend a Friday. We used the location as an excuse to stay in Jerome because it was only an hour from the trailhead.
I recommend taking the spur to the Sedona overlook. It is only an extra mile and completely worth it. The hike really is not difficult more of a moderate.
We saw many wildflowers and lizards. There was also a lot of bugs flying in our faces. Get an early start before it gets too warm.
