  1. I’m having a hard time finding a trail guide for this peak. How far is the hike and how much elevation gain?

  2. Check out this trail on AllTrails.

Trail is short (~3.6mi) but the ‘challenge’ is it starts at a high elevation of 8000+’. But as elevation gain is only 516’, it is definitely doable unless altitude is an issue. There is another route up that is longer, but our group chose the shorter route as we had hike Mt. Wilson (~14.2 withan elevation gain of 4291’) the day before.

Hope you enjoy the Mount Pinos hike. It was beautiful with the small amount of snow and the majestic pines.???? ????
