My very first Solo Hike!

I was lucky to have had the perfect conditions :

  • Not too busy trail, but just enough to feel safe.
  • No rain
  • Partly cloudy so temperature was moderate
  • Trails in good conditions and easy to follow

The last half mile was slightly steeper and a bit slippery due to the recent rain, but there were enough rocks to step on or to hold on to. Nice view from the top. It was pleasant to take a break, meet and chit chat with other hikers at the peak.

10 miles, 3h40.

  1. Congrats on your first solo hike! Glad it went well for you. Sitton Peak may not be very high, but it’s a great hike.
