All I can say is…”Thank goodness I bought a pair of gloves specifically for this hike!” The cables going up and back down are a good enough reason to wear gloves…couple that with the amount of hands on the rocks required …I couldn't imagine doing this hike without them. The weather was chili in the morning, but I quickly warmed up. The climb can be quite tricky, meaning dangerous at times…one wrong step and someone could really be injured. Overall, the hard work paid off once I reached the summit. The view was beautiful and the sky was clear.
