The hike to the peak was great, intense, and physically demanding, but I would do it again in a heart beat. My wife and I climbed it together, and made new friends along the way, . Dennis and LuAnn from San Diego, who just happened to be doing the same six pack of peaks challenge. I have an 18 year old Great- nephew coming in for a few weeks from Michigan, and I will definitely take him up there. The weather was great for the hike except for the wind, . . it got to blowing pretty hard, and on the peak, it was strong and gusty. My wife and I love to hike, and we exercise and ride bicycles everyday, but I will have to admit that my thighs definitely felt it at the end of the day. Mine were a little stiff, and my wife's were sore . . for a few days! But what a trooper she is, . . onward and forward she went! Great experience indeed.
