The trail is mostly rocks creating a stairway to the top. No loose gravel which is a nice change for the AZ hikes. This hike was not too strenuous, we went at a snails pace and made it to the top in an hour but it could definitely be done in 30-45 minutes one way. I went on a Wednesday and it was somewhat busy, probably passed 40 or so people. Online it says no dogs, but I didn’t see a sign posted at this particular trailhead so maybe it’s just some trails.
