Since this is a heavily trafficked trail, we started at 6:15am with the goal to catch sunrise at the peak and did just that…to make it even more spectacular a local Native American was playing drums and later a flute through the sun rise and a bit thereafter.

it was a magical, inspiring and affirming way to kick off my 6 peak challenge. Cheers to 1 down and 5 to go.
