Mount Pinos was a very beautiful hike. The grade was nice enough to take our two beagles with us. We all enjoyed the open meadows and tall trees. We also visited the Mount Pinos Condor observation site we had a small picnic to refuel. I also decided to submit this peak with a 20lbs vest. We had recently summited Mount Whitney before this so I figured it was okay to add a level of difficulty to this particular hike. views were fantastic and we enjoyed the sunny weather with a nice breeze.
