My friend and I started our hike at Lake Poway. We arrived at 6am and the weather was perfect, not too hot with a cool breeze throughout the hike. It’s a beautiful hike, butt kicker for sure! Lots of steps after the 2nd mile. We clocked in at 7.4 miles out and back. Took us about 4 hours and a half including the stop at potato chip rock and all the little breaks to catch our breath. I will definitely do it again.
