We prepared for a hot sunny hike. However a few days before the hike it was projected that there was a chance it would rain so our hike coordinator suggested we bring rain gear. And it was a good thing we did because this hike turned out to be a hike in the rain. On the plus side we didn't have to deal with the heat which makes this trail difficult. The trail was muddy but was manageable. And the rain wasn't a heavy downpour but more like light showers scattered throughout the day. The signage was good. We all got back safely.
