It was super windy today!! I was ready to take off anytime LOL
I arrived at the trailhead pretty late and started at 11 am. It was warm and windy.
The first mile was a bit of a scramble, with some obstacles, but nothing major or troubling. The first mile was also mostly shaded while the rest was 20% shaded, so I could see this being a brutal hike in summer. The rest of the hike is just a steady incline on a graveled fire road. No crazy incline, but with a wind condition (12-14mph wind), I (110 lbs) zig-zagged at times and sometimes had to stop due to the wind. You basically get one view for the entire hike, it was nice but nothing breathtaking IMO.
Overall, it was a nice hike. I finished at 2:30 pm.
