Great day for the hike. Picked up a map at the visitor center center and started out at around 8.30am. Speaking to a park ranger prior to staring the hike and having the map, route finding was not a problem That said, it was a beautiful day temps maxed out in the high 70s F It was only at mile 9 that we saw a sign that pointed us to Rose peak, (I say this as there weren’t any other marking with rose peak on that we saw). which we reached around mile 10. We ate lunch at the peak before heading back to the trail head. Round trip it was 19.5 miles. The Sunol landscape was very beautiful
