Rose Peak……Long, long road and a snake

Trail in good condition

Road suitable for all vehicles

Bugs were not too bad

Snow:

Snow free

Pretty dry out there. Went off trail just a tad here and there. Not many people out hiking today. Long long open exposed hike. Views were not as nice as I had hoped. Maybe it’s the time of year? Weather was nice. Encountered a rattler about 3 miles in. We just slowly walked around it, carefully. Cows are plentiful but not a bother.
