This was my very first hike for the six pack challenge. Things I learned:

1. Beautiful scenery… when you wander to take a picture remember to watch where you’re going.

2. Make sure you don’t try to run downhill … it saves you no time and will result in laughter … from onlookers.

3. Bee careful if you’re allergic bring an epipen!

4. Start early and bring tons of water!

5. You’ll know you’re almost to the top when people continue to tell you “you’re almost there” add an additional fifteen minutes to this time. You’ll know you’re almost to the bottom when the people passing you smell fresh and clean! Ha ha!

It is a breathtaking hike! Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the view from the top!
