Cool, partly cloudy skies made for good hiking conditions. Always good to get an early start. We avoided some afternoon showers. Took us about 4 1/2 hours out/back. Views were magnificent ,as reported. Sierra snow top peaks and downtown SF were visible. Virtually no wildlife and few flowers.
